Vallejo being one of my fav artists, guess I tend towards that style most times. Love Royo too. Must check out out more Giger. I know his 'Alien' works...

giger is really very .... strange usually,
but , when it comes to space he's who came
to mind first.
(well , he's strange to me, I tend to lean
torwards vallejo, bell and royo along with
parkinson , pinkney and a few others) giger
is just really dark with a lot of the stuff
I've seen of his , but .. the sort of texture
of this piece is sorta what made me think him
because it's very 'rich' in the textures and
colours

Hmm.
I do agree. Giger seems way out there, but still has an influence on me. Dark and strange for sure.

I don't think I come anywhere near that dark, or slimy/wet comes to mind too... as he tends to.

But I do LOVE texture!
