This is the ever so gorgeous Poketfeather. I couldn't resist turning her into a vampire after coming across her image in a search for portraits lastnight.
This is the first of two images of her.
my edit of this was done with CS3
Special thanks to Poketfeather [link] for letting me use her pretty face and special thanks to Cinaed-The-Gnostic [link] for allowing me to use the photo since he is the original owner of the portrait view original here [link]
also, thank you to [link] for the tear brushes I used as blood
-------------------------------------------------------------- I decided to edit this one a little more, she was lovely in my first attempt of this one, but was too.. "bright" in appearence, so I darkened her a little more, and I believe that my technique made her look more vampish.
thank you, and I agree .. she definately looks more vampish .. but left the first attempt at it up, because I thought it still looked sorta alright, even though she didn't have all that shading etc ... did you check out the original image? she's quite lovely .. guess that's why I wanted to manip her

Yes, I did, she's beautiful! Not to offend anyone... but I think most look better as Vamps. LOL! This opinion of mine speaks not to their beauty, but to my own weird Vamp fetish.
I've got a twisted vamp fetish myself lol ... not to mention vampires are more easy to understand then humans (again, no offense to any of my subjects, I love you all )

There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
